Phase I-8 research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—View of two greenhouse ranges on 6th floor of parking garage with football stadium in background and ramp for parking garage going right under greenhouses.  Nexus Vail galvanized steel greenhouses glazed with 16mm roofs and 8mm side and endwalls of Deglas acrylic in gasketed aluminum extrusions.  Pad and fan cooling with insect screening, hot water heating and Micro Gro computer controls. Phase I completed in 2004, Phase II completed in 2007

Phase I-8 research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—completed in 2004—View of endwalls of four south greenhouses.  Note fans on endwalls, football stadium in background and building pads with curbs for future greenhouses on right of service driveway between current and future greenhouses.  Also note shade cloth over Deglas acrylic greenhouse roofs.  BL2 research greenhouses with separate treated drains for each cell.

Phase I-8 research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—Service corridor under construction between two greenhouse ranges.  Nexus galvanized steel frames glazed with 8mm clear acrylic.  Air will enter through insect screen roof of corridor to inlet shutters and pads on service corridor walls and exhaust through exhaust fans on outside endwalls.  Note woven shade cloth over acrylic on greenhouses on right

Phase I-8 research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—Main electric service to eight new greenhouses with conduits routed through service corridor under construction to each cell.

Phase I-8 research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—View of endwalls of south range of four greenhouses before downspouts are installed but showing two exhaust fans per cell and woven polypropylene shade cloth over 8mm twinwall acrylic panels.  Note building pads and curbs for future greenhouses to left of service drive.

Phase I-8 new Nexus research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—View down “lean to roof” service corridor under construction between two greenhouse ranges with shutters and pad system for four cells to the left and four cells to the right.  Note extensive plumbing and electrical work overhead in corridor and doors into south cells on the right.  View large oversized frames for insect screen over motorized air inlet shutters on both sides

8 new Nexus research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—View inside south research cell. Note vertical hot water heater and two exhaust fans with oversized frames to provide insect screening for fans.

Phase I-8 new Nexus research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—View of pad system and door inside south research cell with vertical hot water heater overhead.

Phase I-8 new Nexus research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—View of fans endwalls of four north  Nexus greenhouses.  Note three exhaust fans per house, two at crop height and one in upper gable blowing across service drive towards offices and labs.  Galvanized steel frames glazed with 16mm roof and 8mm side and endwall clear acrylic twinwall panels.

Phase I-8 new Nexus research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—View of Koolcel pad sytems and HAF fans in north research greenhouse.

Phase I-8 new Nexus research greenhouses on 6th floor of parking garage—View from inside north research cell.  Note door, horizontal hot water heater, exhaust fan in gable and two regular exhaust fans at crop height with oversized frames for insect screens.
